Exoplanets Interactive Catalog
We've known or at least speculated about planets outside our solar system for hundreds of years but it wasn't until 1992 that astronomical researchers were able to actually discover, confirm, and describe any of these planets. As of 2015 we have discovered nearly 2,000 exoplanets and over 1,000 stars outside our immediate solar system. This means that the hunt for exoplanets is only just beginning and the frontier is growing everyday. Use this website to explore what we know about the the new planetary systems we have been discovering. All of the data represented in this site is obtained from the Planetary Habitability Laboratory's Exoplanets Catalog. To see other projects like this one, check out www.codonn.com.
